Indian Law Society is pleased to announce a Certificate Program in Research Methodology in Virtual mode.
About the course: Research has its origin in the quest of knowledge and has been an integral part of the human aspirations for perfection. An inquisitive mind takes its power from its victories on the problems of our time. Research means searching again or the search for new facts or to modify old facts in any branch of knowledge. The basic purpose of research is discovering, interpreting and developing human knowledge for advancement of the treasure of education. This course covers all the conceptual and methodological issues that go into successful attainment of the above purpose. It includes philosophy of science, the methodological issues in measurement, proposing and testing hypotheses, scientific communication and the ethical issues in the practice of science. During the program participants would be exposed to discourses from leading academics of this area along with lecturing methods.
Course Outcome:
At the end of this course, the students should be able to:
- understand some basic concepts of research and its methodologies
- identify appropriate research topics
- select and define appropriate research problem and parameters
- prepare a research proposal (to undertake a project)
- organize and conduct research in a more appropriate manner

Duration: 1 month, 60 Hours spread across lectures of 2 to 3 hours

Timings:
- Monday to Friday : 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
- Saturday : 9:00 am to 5.00 pm
Candidates accomplishing the entire course would be given a certificate for the completion of the entire course + securing 50% marks in the Multiple Choice examination conducted in the end of the course.
Fee Structure:
For entire course = Rs. 3,000/- (Inclusive of GST)
